# Blame Westad

> Metal guitar and gear reviews with actual opinions. One reviewer, Westad, covers electric guitars, amplifiers, pickups, effects pedals and amp-sim plugins for heavy music, plays everything through a real metal rig, and gives every review a rating from 1 to 5 with a plain-language verdict. The name is the joke: people watch the reviews, buy the gear, and blame Westad.

## Rating scale

- 5/5 Buy it. Blame me. Would spend own money on it and tell a friend to.
- 4/5 Worth it, with notes. Good gear with a catch or two.
- 3/5 Fine. Just fine. Does the job; neither recommended nor warned against.
- 2/5 Hard to recommend. Something better exists at the price.
- 1/5 Don't. Not for metal, not for the money, or not at all.
